Team Tilly
Matilda is a medical foster dog who joined us for palliative hospice care — but, thankfully, she still has many years of being a sassy Basset left. She was found abandoned after what appears to have been a hard life of backyard breeding and not a lot of love.
Tilly had a giant mammary tumor that hung on the ground. At first, the doctors thought the cancer had spread and that her heart was enlarged, but after a second opinion, things were not as bad as we feared.
On June 20th, Tilly had surgery to be spayed and have her tumor removed and tested. After almost three hours of surgery, the entire tumor was removed! And, miraculously, the ten-pound tumor was benign.
If you'd like to help cover the cost of Tilly's surgery, you can grab a T-shirt here. 100% of the proceeds will go toward Tilly, with anything additional raised earmarked for other hounds in need. Let’s show this silly girl the love she deserves!
